NPS – HOW TO APPLY ?

Submit Application Form At Point Of Presence
NRIs Must Have A Indian bank Account
NRIs Must Comply With RBI & FEMA Rules
PRAN Number Gets Generated On Submission Of Application
PRAN CARD Will Be Mailed To Your Address
Telephone & Internet Pin Will Be Mailed To Address

PanCard/ Bank verification / Aadhar Verification Required

NPS – TYPES OF ACCOUNT

Tier 1 Account – Non Withdrawable Account –

Open For Everyone
Primary NPS Account

Tier 2 Account – Voluntary Saving Account

NRIs Not Allowed for Tier 2 Accounts
Can Withdraw Any Time
Tier 2 Account Allowed Only If You Have Tier 1 Account

NPS – CONTRIBUTIONS

You Can Pay At POP- Point Of Presence

Tier 1 Accounts
Minimum Rs. 500 At The Time Of Opening
Minimum Per Year Rs 1000
Account Will Be Frozen If Minimum Amount Not paid
Rs. 500 To Reactivate The Account.
